My Story

Thanks for joining me today. I would describe myself as a very passionate and driven individual. I feel that life is too short to not go after what you want.

I was born and raised in Northern California and spent my entire adolescence in the heart of the redwood forest in Humboldt County. I started the journey to become a therapist when I was 17 years old. I was inspired by a local therapist who taught a psychology class at my high school. I went home and told my parents I wanted to go to college to become a therapist and I never looked back.

I have always been obsessed with progress. As an anxious high schooler, I was very lucky to find my first passion in running. I was excited to see how far I could push myself towards my potential. I completed my first marathon in March 2014. I walked onto my college team and earned a scholarship after two years. I became 2nd Team All-American at Div. II Nationals in the 3K Steeplechase event in 2018. I'm currently on a semi-professional running club team and compete in multiple events throughout the year. And I'm still chasing that potential. And I still love it.

When I'm not working or running, I'm an extreme extrovert. I call and text my friends to make plans in real life. I go out dancing, to local events, new coffee spots, music concerts, anything really. People bring me joy, and my intention has always been to reciprocate the positivity I receive to everyone around me in the community.

My intention is simple: I'm not here to sell you a course, a masterclass, or a quick-fix program. I'm here to genuinely help you find your joy and passion. Every session, every conversation, every tool I share is designed with one purpose—to help you live a more fulfilling, intentional life. That's what drives my work.

My Approach

I believe that wellness is an active practice. When I was younger, I was always curious about why people continue to engage in habits even after knowing it is unhealthy.

As a therapist, my clinical approach is multi-theoretical and integrates relational therapy with a behaviorally-focused cognitive behavioral therapy framework. I support clients with addressing the patterns in their life that cause them distress and explore concepts from relational psychoanalysis and family systems modalities.

As a dating and relationship coach, my approach differs in the way I address presenting concerns and patterns. I utilize a solution-focused approach that emphasizes accountability with empathy, direct communication, and objectivity. As a coach, I am more focused on where you would like to go rather than where you've been.

Direct & Action-Oriented

I cut through the noise to help you focus on what matters. You'll leave each session with clear action steps and practical strategies you can implement immediately. Change happens when you take consistent action, and I'll hold you accountable to the commitments you make.

Authentic & Client-Centered

I show up as my genuine self and expect the same from you. No judgment, no pretense—just honest conversations about what's working and what isn't. Your goals, values, and experiences guide our work together. I listen deeply and collaborate with you to create solutions that fit your life.

Insightful & Credible

I bring 8 years of behavioral health experience and evidence-based methods including CBT, mindfulness, and relational psychoanalysis. But credentials alone don't create change—insight does. I'll help you see patterns you might be missing and understand yourself at a deeper level.

Empowering

My goal isn't to create dependency—it's to help you develop the skills, confidence, and self-awareness to navigate life's challenges on your own. I'll equip you with tools that last beyond our sessions so you can continue growing long after our work together ends.

Culturally Informed & Inclusive

My work is grounded in cultural humility, anti-oppressive practice, and respect for human dignity. I recognize how systemic, historical, and sociopolitical factors—including migration, colonization, and displacement—impact mental health and wellbeing. I am affirming and supportive of LGBTQ+ individuals, BIPOC communities, immigrants, and people from all backgrounds. Your unique experiences, culture, and identity are honored in our work together.
